Design

We provide a complete design package to satisfy all codes and specifications. The National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code requires the following documents be provided to the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) [1, 7.2*]:

Consultation

Often industrial or Government projects will specify commissioning be part of the installation. DrawFire, LLC provides NICET Level IV personnel for on-site commissioning and hazard analysis.

Training

Complex addressable and voice evacuation systems require competent technicians to perform the design and installation. DrawFire, LLC has partnered with Cape Fear Community College to offer online training for technicians and designers.

Fire Alarm Systems Training is a program to produce competent and qualified individuals. It is our belief that properly trained and knowledgeable fire alarm system designers and technicians will reduce the losses due to fire or false alarms and improve the quality of life in their community.

Cape Fear Community College offers our Fire Alarm Systems Training courses online and allows anyone with an internet connection to take the course. You are not required to have US citizenship, but the course is taught only in English. The National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies or NICET “is a non-profit organization created by the National Society of Professional Engineers to serve the certification needs of the engineering technology community.” Fire Alarm Systems Training endorses and encourages NICET certification. Print Services

When project specifications require hard copies of drawings to be provided, DrawFire, LLC offers affordable in-house printing services. Each drawing set is professionally bound and printed on high-quality bond paper stock. Drawings are shipped to your door for convenience.
